The question, however, is if topamax good. That's the point.
As I recall, there is some anecdotal evidence that shows this could be true. I can think of several things that may contribute to this.
The first reason I think is that some people like to take these pills during exercise, and this may affect their ability to heal the cut or other conditions involved, which might explain why there have not been a lot of scientific studies looking at the use of topamax and exercise.

I have been seeing a doctor for some time and she usually has me on topamax right away, but some have more time to deal with the problem and take it a little while after the initial infection. last two people I saw had no problems after taking it for 9 days without any problems.

When I was first diagnosed with fibrous breast implants, I was told there no treatment that would work quick. At the time, I hadn't realized how severe the symptoms were and had no idea that they were actually due to a buildup of breast cells. I have followed up with another doctor every 4 months for the past four years. I did notice a change in my breasts during the first year, when implant was replaced, but as far I can tell, these implants work just fine. I have continued taking topicam, topamax, the antibiotics, breast drain, etc., but at least I don't have such severe symptoms anymore.
So, I don't know if topamax is beneficial for someone with an initial infection, but if the problem had been caused by a hormonal imbalance or other things, having more time to heal might help.
It's a tricky situation, but as I mentioned, the bottom line is that we don't know what the true benefits are. I know that there is anecdotal evidence some women are able to deal with the breast pain better topamax than without. We don't know how much better, but it does seem like there are benefits to taking it in the case of a cut and problem like scarring.
